Who We Are
W e are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Old Town, ME, stewarding 2,460 acres of conserved
woodlands and wetlands. Our mission is to enjoy, understand, and protect Hirundo's natural
and cultural environment for the shared well-being of both people and wildlife.
Who We're Looking For
People who:
• love the great outdoors
• are eager t o join a team of like-minded individuals working to connect people with
nature for mutual benefit
• possess strong communication skills.
How You Can Serve & Lead on the Board of Trustees
• Collaborate with trustees, staff, volunteers, and partners to advance Hirundo's mission
• Attend semi-annual Board meetings & participate in Board votes
• Support Hirundo by serving and providing an annual donation of a self-determined amount
