Staffing Coordinator
Job Description
Do you enjoy organization, scheduling, and keeping things running smoothly? Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center is looking for a staffing coordinator to help coordinate nursing schedules across multiple departments.
In this role, you’ll work with nurse managers and supervisors to update schedules, coordinate coverage for absences, and communicate staffing needs to ensure units are appropriately staffed.
What you’ll do:
• Coordinate daily staffing coverage for nursing units
• Update schedules and document staffing changes
• Communicate with staff to fill open shifts
• Maintain staffing and attendance records
• Support staffing coordination using electronic scheduling systems
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED required
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a busy environment
