Job Description
The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office is seeking applicants for a Digital Evidence Specialist. Digital Evidence Specialists are responsible for accurately and efficiently categorizing, processing, redacting and facilitating the distribution of the Penobscot County Sheriff's Office's in car and body worn camera data. Other essential functions of this position will be to communicate and assist in maintaining all equipment and property, as it relates to the Body Worn Camera program. Work is performed under general supervision and should be comfortable in a dynamic and fast paced environment.

Minimum Qualifications
  1. Minimum 21 years of age.
  2. High school diploma/G.E.D.
  3. Preference will be given to those with Digital Evidence experience.
  4. Successful completion of departmental testing, screening, and interviews.
  5. Must successfully pass a full criminal and motor vehicle background check.
  6. Must have a valid motor vehicle driver’s license.
 
Requirements
  1. Successfully pass a full personal, criminal, and motor vehicle background check.
  2. Successfully complete a Polygraph. (May be required)
  3. Successfully pass pre-employment drug screening. (May be required)
