Event Description:

Get out of your home office or quiet workplace and join us for our Third Annual BRCC Gold Ball Golf Scramble! We are bringing together members in a unique and enjoyable way, providing networking and increased visibility through a day on the greens in Hermon. Held at one of the area’s fantastic golf courses, we are pleased to have our first golf events of the year that enables support for Chamber programs and activities that promote and advance a vital, healthy business environment. In addition to a round of golf, participants enjoy a great lunch, hole challenges and a number of great prize giveaways.

- Scramble teams of 4. Registered single players and groups of 2 will be grouped together.
- Course opens at 7:15. Shotgun start at 8am.
- All cart assignments will be sent out to golfers by email before the tournament.
- Gift, water, scorecard, snacks and program (includes course map) will be on your cart when you arrive.
- If you have purchased a Gold Ball, that will be placed in your golf cart.
- Each player will have 3 complimentary chances at the Bullseye Putting Competition
- Boxed lunches will be delivered to your cart during the tournament.
- Refreshments will be located around the course.
- Lunch will be delivered to your cart during the tournament. Patio will be open for refreshments after the scramble as results are determined. Results will be announced, listed in the BDN, emailed to players and posted online at bangorregion.com. Prizes that are not claimed will be held at the Chamber office for pick-up.
Gold Ball Mulligan
- Teams may purchase ONE gold ball per team for $50
- The ball will be labeled with the team’s starting hole.
- The ball may be used for ONE SHOT (mulligan) per hole, but the shot must be outside of 75 yards. Any player may use the ball, but only one time per hole.
- The ball does not have to be used on every hole - or at all for that matter.
- If the team loses the ball, they are done with the advantage.
- At the end of the round, each team that returns the gold ball will have 3 strokes taken off their final score.
- Any team that loses the yellow ball will have 3 strokes added to their score.
Bullseye Putting Competition
- This will take place on the practice greens near the clubhouse
- 3 balls per player
- 5 points if your ball lands in the outer ring
- 10 points if it lands in the second ring
- 25 points if you make the putt
- If necessary, there will be a putt off at the end.
- One winner because it is based on accumulative points.

- Straightest Drive - Hole #2
- Closest to Pins - Holes #3 and #10
- Hole in One - #16
- Longest Drive - (men & women) #6
Hermon Meadow Golf Course is a par 72, 18 hole course with tees for juniors and experts! They have a full bar and offer snacks and cold drinks you can enjoy inside our clubhouse or outside on our patio overlooking our course. The Titleist Pro Shop is in their clubhouse. You will find a selection of quality clubs, golf bags, apparel, hats, balls and accessories to make your golfing experience a better one.
