Literacy Volunteers of Bangor (LVB) continues to work with immigrants learning English and seeking a pathway to citizenship. LVB also has several adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities that desire the social aspects of reading to improve memory, learn words, and connect with others. Finally, other adults want to read and write better so that they can better provide for themselves and their families.
