We are pleased to announce that Andrew Geaghan, Owner & Head Brewer, Geaghan Bros. Brewing Co. will be our keynote speaker for this event. 

Andrew Geaghan, is the third generation owner of Bangor’s iconic Geaghan’s Pub. Andrew, rejoined the family business in early 2010, after careers in both teaching high school science locally, and finishing his Masters Degree in Theology and Ministry Studies from Bangor Theological Seminary. Along with his father and uncles, the idea to build a brewery in connection to the pub was born. In December 2011, Geaghan Bros. Brewing Co. sold its first pints and in January of 2016 the company started distributing state wide. When he is not working, Andrew enjoys spending time with his wife Lindsay and their two young children, he is still a part-time pastor at Milford Congregational Church.

We will also be honoring our Volunteer of the Year, Kathleen Shane. Kathleen is the rental manager at Downeast Toyota in Brewer.

Kathleen Shane is the rental manager at Downeast Toyota. She started the rental department in July of 2004. She has been recognized by Toyota in both the regional level and the national level for the past 12 years. 
Kathleen really enjoys her time volunteering at the Chamber; she is on the membership committee and loves to volunteer at the Chamber golf tournament. She is a 2016 graduate of BRLI and is now serving on the curriculum committee. Kathleen has found success in the rental business by networking at the different events the chamber has to offer such as the business afterhours that is held every month. Kathleen is married to Craig Shane and they live in Dedham with her 2 sons Keith and Sean Adams.
