Event Description:
The Bangor Region Chamber of Commerce invites you to our Annual Business Awards Event - Thursday April 17, 2025 at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor, followed by a "Second Act" at Hollywood Casino Hotel and Raceway Bangor, our presenting sponsor.
These awards honor businesses and individuals who have demonstrated excellence in service to the community, entrepreneurship, business leadership, and lifetime achievement.
This year's award recipients are:
Norbert X Dowd Award will be presented to Dan Tremble
Large Business of the Year: Frank's Bake Shop
Small Business of the Year: Henry's Bridal Boutique
Non-Profit of the Year: Community Health and Counseling Services
Innovation and Entrepreneurship Award: Compotech
“Spirit of the Region” Cultural Award: Annette Dodd
Sarah Dubay Community Service Award: Tammy Higgins
Volunteer of the Year Award: Liz Russell
Tentative Schedule for the Evening:
4:00 PM - Doors open. Reception starts in the arena featuring members of the Bangor Symphony Orchestra. Light eats and refreshments will be available
5:30 PM - Transition to the other side of the Arena with seating in the stands. Sponsors and award winners will be seated at tables in front of the stage.
6:00 PM - Awards ceremony co-hosted by Marc Guastella, GM of Hollywood Casino Hotel and Raceway, and featuring performances by the Penobscot Theatre Company.
5:30 PM - Transition to the other side of the Arena with seating in the stands. Sponsors and award winners will be seated at tables in front of the stage.
6:00 PM - Awards ceremony co-hosted by Marc Guastella, GM of Hollywood Casino Hotel and Raceway, and featuring performances by the Penobscot Theatre Company.
8:00 PM - Program ends and the SECOND ACT begins across the street at Hollywood Casino Hotel!
