Unleash Curiosity and Creativity at the 2nd Annual Build. Create. Innovate. STEM Family Festival!

Girl Scouts of Maine invites families across the community to the FREE 2nd Annual Build. Create. Innovate. STEM Family Festival on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Cole Land Transportation Museum in Bangor.
This exciting day is packed with hands-on STEM activities, demonstrations, and innovative challenges designed for children and families of all ages. Explore science, technology, engineering, and creativity together through interactive exhibits hosted by leading Maine organizations like Machias Savings Bank, Maine Maritime Academy, 4-H Science Center, Challenger Learning Center, Mainely Physics Roadshow, Jackson Laboratories, Bath Iron Works, Kiwibot, Bangor Makerspace, and many more.
Discover, build, and imagine — from building your own cars and boats, trying robotics and virtual reality, to marine biology touch tanks and coding games. Plus, be among the first to taste the new Girl Scout Exploremores™ Cookie. Inspired by Rocky Road ice cream, Exploremores are sandwich-style cookies with flavors of chocolate, marshmallow, and toasted almond crème. They’re the perfect treat to fuel your imagination.
Bring your family, bring your curiosity, and get ready for a day full of learning, excitement, and community connection! Enjoy food available for purchase and an inspiring, inclusive experience for the entire family.
