Twelve Bar Harbor Bank & Trust Employees Recognized with Brand Behavior Awards for Embodying the Bank’s Core Values

Bar Harbor, Maine – Bar Harbor Bank & Trust recently announced the winners of the Bank’s Brand Behavior Awards, a bi-annual recognition of employees who demonstrate behavior that exemplifies the Bank’s core values. Twelve employees were presented with awards for positivity, accountability, communication, and teamwork. These values guide the actions of all Bank employees and set the expectation for customers.
Employees are nominated for a Brand Behavior Award by their peers, and the winners are selected by an anonymous committee comprised of employees.
The Brand Behavior Award winners for the second half of 2025 are:
James Lacasse, Tiffany Law, and Desaraye Perron are the recipients of the Positivity Award, which recognizes employees who create a rewarding place to work by embracing change and celebrating wins together.
Lacasse, a Vice President Commercial Portfolio Manager, joined the Bank in 2008 and serves customers throughout Maine. Law, a Vice President Commercial Relationship Manager, joined the Bank in 2019 and works in Nashua, New Hampshire. Perron, a Branch Sales and Service Lead, joined the Bank in 2018 and works in Newport, New Hampshire.
Elaine Donaway, Jolene Faler, and Jamie Young are the recipients of the Accountability Award, which recognizes employees who own their actions and decisions with colleagues and customers.
Donaway, a Senior Commercial Loan Assistant, joined the Bank in 2021 and works in Peterborough, New Hampshire. Faler, a Customer Service Representative, joined the Bank in 2021 and works in Grantham, New Hampshire. Young, a Benefits and HR Operations Administrator, joined the Bank in 2025 and works in Newport, New Hampshire.
Justin Drew, Kerensa Ficorilli, and Delaney Hanna are the recipients of the Communication Award, which recognizes employees who share the appropriate information clearly to strengthen relationships and build
authentic trust.
Drew, a Branch Relationship Manager, joined the Bank in 2020 and works in Andover, New Hampshire. Ficorilli, a Vice President Information Reporting Manager, joined the Bank in 2020 and serves all departments across the Bank. Hanna, a Branch Sales and Service Lead, joined the Bank in 2022 and works in Lancaster, New Hampshire.
Amanda Hatch, Morgan Alt, and Patricia Whitney are the recipients of the Teamwork Award, which recognizes employees who treat others with respect and collaborate openly, allowing great things to happen when people work together.
Hatch, an Assistant Vice President Senior Credit Analyst, joined the Bank in 2019 and works in Maine. Alt, a Personal Banker, joined the Bank in 2018 and works in Pittsfield, Maine. Whitney, a Financial Services Specialist with Bar Harbor Financial Services, joined the Bank in 2022 and works in Ellsworth, Maine.
