Coats of Kindness is a community-driven initiative that ensures that those in need have FREE coats, offering essential warmth and comfort during Maine’s chilly months. These coats make a tangible difference in the lives of people of all ages. Donations and your sponsorships empower us to purchase and distribute coats on your behalf. From Nov. – March we collect new and gently used coats. Gold Star Cleaners has partnered with us to clean the coats at no cost: Participating Gold Stars include Bangor, Brewer, Orono, Lincoln, and Old Town.  
  How you can help
