Northern Light Cancer Care Welcomes New Oncologist

Northern Light Cancer Care is pleased to welcome Taruna Arora, MD, oncologist and hematologist, to the team. Dr. Arora cares for adult patients with a variety of cancers and has interests in benign hematology, and solid tumors including skin and lung cancer.

Dr. Arora earned her medical degree from Grant Government Medical College in Mumbai and worked as a post-doctoral researcher at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda. She also finished her Internal Medicine education as a resident at Saint Vincent Hospital and completed a fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at University of Massachusetts Medical School, both in Worcester.

With an approach to patient care that centers on active listening, Dr. Arora ensures patients feel heard and understood. She prioritizes attention to detail, both in clinical evaluation and providing thorough explanations. Empathy is at the core of her practice, fostering trust and support. Additionally, Dr. Arora is deeply committed to serving the community, ensuring that compassionate and high-quality care reaches those in need.

Dr. Arora is board certified in Internal Medicine and eligible for certification in Hematology and Oncology.
