Katahdin Trust Announces Promotion of Clarissa Cumming to Officer

BANGOR, Maine (November 5, 2025) – Katahdin Trust, a local community bank serving northern Maine and the greater Bangor and Portland regions, is pleased to announce the promotion of Clarissa Cumming to Commercial Services Associate, Officer and Team Leader.
In her new role, Clarissa will oversee the Commercial Services Associate team and ensure excellent customer service and efficient delivery of accurate and compliant loan documentation.
“Clarissa is most deserving of this promotion,” said Angela Tennett, Executive Vice President, Chief Banking Officer. “Since joining the Bank, Clarissa has demonstrated tremendous leadership and lending documentation expertise, she will be a great team leader.”
Clarissa, a Houlton native, began her career at Katahdin Trust in 2015 as a part-time Retail Services Assistant at our Springer Drive branch location in Bangor and became a Customer Service Representative the following year. She joined the Commercial team in 2018 as Commercial Services Assistant and progressed through various roles, including Commercial Loan Processor and Administrative Assistant. Clarissa recently received her Administrative Assistant diploma from Center for Financial Training & Education Alliance (CFTEA) and Leadership for Women in Business Certificate.
