Joint Resolution by The Maine State Senate, 132^nd Legislature recognizing
National Hospital Week and Northern Light Cardiology in Bangor, Maine

Bangor, Maine (July 10, 2025) –   Northern Light Cardiology in Bangor received a Joint Resolution by The Maine State Senate, 132nd Legislature recognizing National Hospital Week and the exemplary Cardiac Care team at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center on July 9, 2025. The resolution S.P. 793 was adopted unanimously by the Senate on June 11, 2025, and adopted unanimously by the House on June 12, 2025. Specifically, Darryl Hoffman, MD, cardiologist, Northern Light Cardiology, was recognized for the excellent care provided to Mr. Joseph Guerin.

An excerpt from the formal resolution states, “…the heart care team at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center, led by Dr. Darryl Hoffman, a distinguished surgeon in the field of cardiothoracic surgery, is committed to the highest standard of care, saving lives and making a lasting difference in the lives of countless patients throughout to region; and we extend our deepest appreciation for their ongoing contribution to the health and well-being of the people of Maine.”

The event at the medical center was attended by Senator Stacey Guerin who sponsored this joint resolution, her husband, as well as members of Northern Light Health leadership.
