BANGOR, ME - Hollywood Casino is hosting a job fair from 3-6 p.m. on Thursday, April 16 in the hotel lobby at 500 Main St. in Bangor. The casino is looking to expand its staff to get ready for the busy summer season.

“Summertime is a very busy time at Hollywood Casino,” said Hollywood Casino vice president and general manager, Marc Guastella. “Between amazing shows at Waterfront Concerts, a rich downtown food scene, travelers visiting Bangor from near and far, and a full calendar of events throughout Downtown Bangor, we always need more people on our team to ensure a positive experience for visitors to Hollywood Casino. It’s an exciting time to be in Downtown Bangor and it’s an exciting time for our staff.”

Hollywood Casino is encouraging local job-seekers to visit the job fair to see a variety of roles that will be available. Some openings include servers, table games dealers, wait staff, dishwashers, and kitchen staff. Officials say they are hiring both part-time and full-time staff, with immediate staff perks and long-term benefits for full-time positions. Additionally, Hollywood Casino offers free dealer school for prospective students to get experience in running table games.  

Attendees may secure a same-day interview and could leave with a scheduled follow-up if deemed a viable fit for the role (verify). The job fair will be held in the hotel lobby of the building. Job-seekers are encouraged to bring a form of identification with them and a physical copy of their resume.
