Bangor, ME – June 11, 2025 — Freshies (formerly Leadbetters) is pleased to announce that its Hammond Street location in Bangor is temporarily closed for renovations as part of the company’s ongoing store upgrade initiative. This project reflects Freshies’ continued commitment to the communities they serve, focused on delivering a modern, convenient, and enjoyable experience for every customer.

- A new beer cave to keep customers’ favorite beverages perfectly chilled
- Modernized restrooms to enhance comfort and cleanliness
- Expanded parking, making access easier and more convenient
- New gas pumps, including a new diesel island to better serve commercial and fleet customers
- And more exciting enhancements to elevate the overall shopping experience
