June 18, 2025
Old Town, ME – Celebrate a delicious Maine tradition as Governor’s Restaurant & Bakery hosts its Annual Lobster Roll Day on Wednesday, June 25. Join us at all Governor’s locations to enjoy our famous Lobster Rolls at a special price of $10.66, honoring 66 successful years in business.
Founded in 1959 in Old Town, Maine, Governor’s has become a beloved staple in the community. Our annual Lobster Roll Day is the highlight of our month-long June Birthday Celebration, which has been a cherished event for the past 16 years.
“Lobster Roll Day is the most exciting day of our year,” said Jason Clay, Owner/CEO of Governor’s. “It’s our way of saying thanks for 66 incredible years. With prices rising everywhere, we’re proud to offer such a great deal—and our team loves making it happen.”
Starting at 8 AM on June 25th, our delicious Lobster Rolls will be available for dine-in or takeout. To ensure a smooth experience, all Governor’s locations will feature cash-only drive-thrus or walk-up kiosks, which will open at 8 AM (10 AM at Presque Isle). We are accepting pre-orders of 10 or more Lobster Rolls at GovernorsRestaurant.com until 11:59 PM on Tuesday 6/24.
“We encourage guests to visit before 11 AM or between 2 PM and 4 PM to avoid peak times,” Clay added. “While we’ve secured a large supply of lobster, we expect to sell out later in the day. So, plan accordingly!”
