Bangor, Maine — The Galen Cole Family Foundation is pleased to announce the promotion of Jennifer Munson to Executive Director. Munson has been with the organization for nearly four years in the capacity of Museum Director and will now oversee the entirety of operations for both the Foundation and the Cole Land Transportation Museum.

During her tenure, Munson has played a significant role in strengthening community partnerships, expanding educational programs, and advancing the mission to honor Maine’s transportation history. Her leadership has helped modernize operations, elevate public engagement, and influence long term strategic planning.

In her new role, Munson will be responsible for organizational leadership, program creation and execution, community and donor engagement, and the continued development of initiatives that reflect the vision of founders Galen and Suzanne Cole.
