OLD TOWN — The third annual Fire & Ice Festival will bring warmth to a wintery season on Middle Street in Old Town on Saturday, March 7. This family-friendly event offers activities for all ages and will bring the community together for an evening of activities, live entertainment, and charitable giving.

Festivities begin at 5:00 PM and will feature sledding, live music, ice carving demonstrations, Touch-a-Truck, raffle prizes, fire pits, sweet treats, and more.

At 7:00 p.m., attendees are invited to gather around the big outdoor movie screen for a live stream of the final University of Maine Men’s Hockey game of the season, cheering on the Black Bears with a spirited community experience.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the Penquis Good Neighbor Fund, which ensures neighbors in urgent need can stay warm, safe, and supported during Maine’s coldest months.
