This holiday season, you can make a lasting impact on children in our community by supporting one (or both!) of our heartfelt programs: Christmas is for Kids and the Community Kids’ Resource Room. Your time and generosity can help us spread joy and hope to those who most need it. Volunteering is also a wonderful way to unite your colleagues as a team, fostering connection and shared purpose while giving back to the community.
Christmas is for Kids is a heartfelt collaboration between Blueberry Broadcasting and Penquis. We are dedicated to bringing the magic of the holidays to children in our community who face incredible challenges—whether it’s transportation barriers, food insecurity, financial struggles, or other hardships. The Community Kids’ Resource Room is a lifeline for children facing financial hardships, ensuring that even those not reached by other area resources feel the magic of the season. Fueled by the generosity of local citizens and supported by heartfelt Toy Drives, this initiative brings joy, hope, and a sense of belonging to children who need it most. Each toy and contribution symbolizes our community’s compassion, creating moments of happiness that will be remembered for years. How can you help?
