Champion the Cure Challenge participants will cycle, run, and walk to support local cancer care

Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center will kick off this year’s Champion the Cure Challenge with cycle, run, and walk events on Saturday, August 16. Cancer survivors, family, friends, and caregivers touched by cancer will come together at Northern Light Cancer Care’s Lafayette Family Cancer Institute in Brewer to raise critical funds that support cancer treatment and research.
Champion the Cure Challenge shines as a beacon of hope to those living with cancer, as every dollar raised stays local to enhance care provided to patients in the region.
Champion the Cure Challenge 2025 honorees will be recognized during the sendoff celebration at 8:40 am on Saturday, August 16 with the largest participant group kicking off at 9 am.
Registration is still open! Community members interested in giving back and helping make a difference for patients with cancer may sign up by visiting ctcchallenge.org.
