Books-A-Million Celebrates new location in Bangor, Saturday June 22nd

BANGOR, MAINE [June 19, 2024] – Books-A-Million, a family-owned bookstore with over 200 stores across the USA, is excited to announce the grand opening of its new Bangor, Maine store. The store, which has relocated down the road from its original location to Stillwater Plaza, will host a grand opening event with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10:30 AM on June 22, 2024.
The grand opening will feature special giveaways for the first 100 guests and free ice cream from Spencer’s Ice Cream until noon. Celebrations will continue throughout the day with free cookies and Bangor-exclusive tote bags, face-painting for children, raffles, giveaways, and a book drive benefiting Literacy Volunteers. Author signings will take place on both Saturday and Sunday, with Dog Man making a special appearance on Saturday from 1 PM to 4 PM. Millionaire’s Club Members will receive 20% off their purchases all weekend long.
