Announcing Grand Opening of New Hammond Street Freshies: Fueling Customers’ Day with Fresh, Convenient Offerings

Bangor, Maine – March 9, 2026 – R. H. Foster Energy, LLC, and Freshies are excited to announce the grand opening of their new Hammond Street location in Bangor. Designed to streamline busy routines and enhance everyday convenience, the store offers an energizing stop for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or quick errands, all under one roof.
The Hammond Street store features an indoor dining area with counter seating and tables, creating a welcoming space for guests to enjoy fresh, ground-bean-to-cup coffee and baked goods. Customers can also enjoy our fan-favorite salad bar, which will continue to offer a wide variety of fresh ingredients. Hammond Street will also continue to offer hot meals, including pizza, homemade lasagna, chicken pot pies, breakfast sandwiches, and other rotating specials.
This location features a large, well-lit beer cave with a variety of adult beverages, an expansive cooler section, a large selection of snacks, and a new fountain beverage station. Outside, the store provides new Shell fuel pumps, a dedicated diesel island, and the Sparkle Car Wash. The Hammond Street location brings together fresh food, convenience, fuel, and inviting spaces in a seamless experience for the community.

We knew how important the salad bar and the specials were to this market, and we worked hard to offer them as part of an integrated Freshies program. This has been a massive undertaking for us, and we are very excited to begin to welcome guests, said Executive Manager of Operations, Katie Foster.
The store will be open to the public on March 9, 2026, with an interactive scavenger hunt and a chance to win prizes! The store will hold a ribbon-cutting on March 11, 2026, at 9:30 AM.
