Anne-Marie L. Storey joined the firm’s Portland office as Senior Counsel on September 23, bringing more than two decades of experience in employment law and a reputation for practical, client-centered counsel. Anne-Marie earned her law degree cum laude from Vermont Law School in 1995 and has since built a respected career advising and defending employers across Maine. Known for her candid, strategic approach, she has successfully handled complex cases, including the landmark Bourgoin v. Twin Rivers Paper Company decision before Maine’s Supreme Judicial Court. She is consistently recognized by Best Lawyers and Super Lawyers, and is a frequent speaker at HR and legal education events. Deeply committed to community service, Anne-Marie was named the 2022 Bangor Chamber Volunteer of the Year and actively supports organizations like the Bangor YMCA, The Grand Theatre, and Meals on Wheels.
