This year marks a special milestone as Boots2Roots celebrates 10 years of serving transitioning servicemembers, veterans, and military spouses. Over the past decade, your faithful support has helped build a nationally recognized program that continues to strengthen Maine's workforce, communities, and economy.

Together over the last 10 years, we have:
• Successfully placed 445 Teammates into meaningful careers across Maine
• Received more than 1,135 program applications
• Partnered with over 200 Maine employers to hire military-connected talent

As we reach the midpoint of 2026, Boots2Roots has already assisted with 61 successful placements — 58% of our annual goal — keeping us on pace for another impactful year. Behind every placement is a servicemember or military family building a new life, and an employer filling a critical workforce need. 

We are excited to announce a new partnership with the Maine Defense Industry Alliance (MDIA). Together, we are expanding outreach to transitioning military talent nationwide and helping connect skilled candidates with career opportunities that support Maine's growing defense industry.

We are also excited to welcome Ashley Osborne as our newest Military Transition Specialist, making our entire staff Boots2Roots Alumni who now help others successfully navigate their own transition journeys.

As we celebrate our first decade, we remain focused on the future. Thank you for your continued investment in this mission. Together, we are creating opportunities, strengthening Maine's workforce, and helping more military families put down roots in Maine.
