SALES ASSOCIATE – Full-time Position
Locally owned furniture store specializing in quality, custom-made home furnishings and unfinished furniture, is seeking a full-time sales associate. If you are a people person with strong communications skills, an engaging personality, a clean-cut appearance, and have retail and/or customer service experience (min. 1 year), this job could be the perfect fit for you!
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Provide superior customer service on the phone and on the sales floor
- Maintain knowledge of all products, pricing, ordering procedures, etc.
- Assist with merchandising of sales floor, pricing of furniture, maintaining inventory on website, and cleaning of showroom
- Enter and process customer transactions
- Develop and maintain customer relationships and follow-up on orders and deliveries
- Educate yourself on industry and decorating trends to better serve our customers
- An outgoing, engaging personality
- High school diploma, some college preferred
- Clean-cut, professional appearance at all times (business casual attire)
- A strong work ethic, punctual each day, team player attitude (we do not work on commission – we all work toward the same goals!)
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and assist with lifting furniture
- Reliable transportation is a must!
- Full-time employment with a regular weekly schedule. Must have availability 7 days a week from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m., although work week will consist of 5 days/40 hours, generally with 2 consistent days off per week.
