Talent Acquisition Specialist
Our team has an immediate opening for a Talent Acquisition Specialist. This is a great opportunity for someone who’s passionate about building strong teams by matching people with the right roles. In this role, you’ll oversee the full hiring process and help create a seamless, positive experience for candidates and new hires. You’ll work closely with hiring managers and HR leaders in a collaborative, team-focused environment. This is more than a recruiting position, it’s a chance to partner with our HR team and contribute strategically to the success and growth of our firm.
The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of recruiting experience and be comfortable working with Human Resources Information Systems and Applicant Tracking Systems. A HR-specific credential is preferred (SHRM- CP or HRCI-PHR); if not already obtained, we’d like to see that credential earned within their first year.
If you have recruiting experience but are new to our industry, we’ll support you in learning the details of our services and positions so you can better identify candidates who are the right fit.
When you’re not busy hiring, you’ll assist with our annual job description review for each of our departments, help improve our onboarding and training experience, and collaborate with marketing to develop effective recruiting campaigns and promote our employer brand.
This role begins as an in-office position, with the potential to transition to a hybrid schedule after six months.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Executing all aspects of the hiring process, including application review, phone screens, interviews, preparing offer letters, and facilitating the pre-hire process for applicants who have accepted new roles.
• Regularly analyzing our hiring process and implementing changes to improve efficiency and enhance the candidate experience.
• Staying up to date with legal requirements to ensure a compliant hiring process.
• Reviewing background checks in accordance with our internal background check policy.
• Actively seeking opportunities for the firm to participate in career fairs and school visits, and attending some events yourself across our footprint.
