Per Diem Firefighter Paramedic
Hampden Fire Department | Hampden, MaineThe Hampden Fire Department is currently seeking dedicated professionals to join our team as Per Diem Firefighter Paramedics. We are looking for highly motivated individuals committed to providing top-tier public safety and emergency medical services to our community.
Compensation
- Pay Rate: $33.00 per hour
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet and maintain the following standards:- Licensure: Must hold and maintain a valid Maine Driver’s License.
- EMS Certification: Must hold and maintain a valid Maine Paramedic License.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Fire Certification: Firefighter I & II certification (or equivalent).
- Driver Training: Successful completion of a state-certified AVOC/EVOC class.
- Hazmat: Hazardous Materials Operations Certification.
The Selection Process
Prospective candidates will be required to successfully complete the following:- Hampden Fire Department hiring process.
- Comprehensive pre-employment medical evaluation.
- Psychological evaluation.
