Job Description
The successful candidate will perform the following functions:
- Evaluate all financial and credit information for commercial and business lending applications.
- Perform analysis to determine whether commercial members credit requests satisfy policy and procedure guidelines.
- Conduct data gathering, historical analysis, and market research for commercial properties and businesses.
- Serve as the key point of contact for commercial underwriting for lenders in branches.
- Complete quarterly and annual assessments of existing commercial client portfolios to meet regulatory standards.
- Provide and maintains reporting requirements on Credit Union members' credit obligations.
This position requires two to five years of related commercial credit evaluation experience.
Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. It also involves much personal contact with others within the Credit Union for the purpose of collaboration and coaching lessor skilled lenders. The individual who sits in this seat should be capable of attending and leading Zoom meetings, must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and must be effective at working independently as a member of a team. Our next team member should also be a critical thinker who is capable of analysis and decisioning loan requests.
