Women's Leadership Event with Amanda Rector - September 2022
Join us as we “lean in and learn” from Amanda Rector who has served as Maine’s State Economist since 2011. In this capacity, she conducts ongoing analysis of Maine's economic and demographic conditions to help inform policy decisions. We will learn about the journey that led her to this leadership position and the lessons learned along the way.
Amanda holds membership on the State of Maine’s Revenue Forecasting Committee and serves on the advisory board for the New England Public Policy Center at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, the Board of Visitors at the Muskie School of Public Service and as the Governor’s liaison to the U.S. Census Bureau.
Amanda earned a BA in Economics from Wellesley College and a Master's in Public Policy and Management from the Muskie School of Public Service.
