GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for planning and managing the human, material, equipment and fiscal resources or all areas of responsibility and accountable for developing and operationalizing action plans to contribute to the organization's ability to carry out its mission and accomplish annual pillar goals.

SPECIFIC POSITION SUMMARY: Provides direction and leadership which focuses 100% time removing access barriers and improving volume generation for referring providers/clinicians, institutions and patients. The DA will be responsible for collecting, developing, and utilizing business intelligence information to facilitate success. The DA will work closely with Financial Planning & Accounting [decision support] to maximize near real-time data and coordinate with service leaders and senior executives to develop and operationalize action plans improving access for patients.

GENERAL MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Essential functions are identified by an asterisk:

A. Responsible for safety*

1.Promotes open and non-punitive communication between healthcare workers, patients and families regarding clinical and environmental safety.*

2.Promotes employee and non-employee healthcare workers to reporting and directly address patient and environmental safety concern.*

3.Holds subordinate leaders accountable for accident/injury prevention and investigation including root cause analysis, as well as assisting in the return of injured workers to gainful employment.*

B. Maintains excellence in customer services through measurement and improvement action plans.*

C. Ensures the efficient and effective operations of processes in the delivery of service/care for areas of responsibility.*

D. Monitors compliance with legal and accrediting requirements related to areas of responsibility functions and services.*

E. Engages staff and service providers in providing and improving service delivery.*

F. Recognizes staff and others for contributions.*

SPECIFIC MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES: Essential function are identified by anasterisk

A. Focus on tools and reports to generate business intelligence that will facilitate improved

access to services offered

B. Work collaboratively with operations staff and leadership to implement improvement

C. Matix reporting relationship to SVP, Operations and VP, Provider Services; provides

weekly status updates on issues, challenges, and progress

D. Prioritizes areas of opportunity for quick impact/improvement

E. Meets regularly with hospital leaders as well as medical group staff and its leadership to review opportunity and ideas and to gain understanding of challenges being faced regarding access and opportunities to increase volume

F. Must be energetic and results oriented

G. Develops auto generated reports for use by hospital and medical group related to access

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Proficient with Discern Analytics [Cerner], EPSi, Advanced Excel, Tableau

SPECIAL SKILLS

A. Excellent oral and written communicator, able to converse with all disciplines, tactical and strategic solution seeker

B. Goal/KPI and objective focused

C. Direct, candid, tactful in communication

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIRED:

Experienced in medical group and acute care hospital operations including acute care, ancillary and ambulatory related services.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION PREFERRED:

Bachelor's Degree Required with 5 plus years working understanding of Medical Group and Hospital Operations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Light to medium carrying up to 50lbs., straight pulling/pushing, reaching in all directions, stooping, walking long distances, standing, sitting, repetitive motion/finger activity for sustained periods of time, speaking, hearing, moderate phone contact, visual activity; long periods of working on computer.
